My daughter, Abby, loves to bake! She can produce the most delicious cookies in our kitchen. Really. These fantastic no-bake chocolate drops found their way into our fridge last week, and wow! They are the best no-bake oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had. Thanks Abby!
As we were browsing in a bookstore a couple months ago, Abby came upon this Gooseberry Patch cookbook. It was on sale, so she picked it up, because she loves to be in the kitchen. This cookbook has paid for itself in inspiration for her, and yum in the tum for us!
This recipe for fantastic no-bake chocolate drops is a little out of the ordinary. First, the texture is amazing- it’s like there’s some sort of fudge going on in there. Secondly, the addition of peanut butter gives it a more complicated flavour. Chocolate and peanut butter always go great together!
I promise you, or warn you- more like it, that you will not be able to stop at one when eating these no-bake cookies. They are delicious. And, you could say with the addition of oatmeal and peanut butter, that they are nutritious. Just kidding.
No, seriously, fantastic no-bake chocolate drops need to be the next thing you make in your kitchen. You will definitely want to keep this recipe on hand for your next get-together or just to have in the fridge for that afternoon craving. You know what I’m talking about.

Fantastic No-Bake Chocolate Drops
Creamy, chewy, chocolatey cookies with a hint of peanut butter swirled in for good measure.
Servings: 2 dozen
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup cocoa
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal, uncooked
Instructions
- Over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, milk and cocoa. Bring to a boil.
- Cook for one minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and oats. Mix well.
- Drop by tablespoon onto parchment paper or waxed paper.
- Cool in refrigerator for a delicious result!
